X-MEN APOCALYPSE - DD's review

Amid huge expectations, sixth movie of the xmen series released this weekend. Thanks to the trailer which has created enough buzz among audience. From last three movies, we have been seeing xmen fighting among themselves. This time it is the first mutant of this world En Sabah nur alias Apocalypse's team of mutants vs Xavier's mutants. Story line is not new. Story dates back to 3000 BC where a group of mutants tries to transfer powers to En Sabah nur, Pharaoh to make him powerful and a true God. Few guards who believes him as a false god and a threat destroys the pyramid, thereby burying Apocalypse and his team of first mutants. In 1980's, CIA agent Moira's operation uncovers the mutant and indirectly responsible for bringing him back to life. Apocalypse wants to take back this world from humans with a team of gifted mutants. Few are easily convinced by him and joins his team. In the meanwhile, magneto aka Eric leads his life as a mine worker, with his wife and a daughter. In one encounter, both are killed by cops, unleashing beast inside him. He joins apocalypse. Jean gray(Sophie Turner) foresees some great power bringing apocalypse to the entire world. Professor Charles( James McAvoy) team confronts apocalypse's team to save this world once again.

Jennifer Lawrence's (mystique) role is little. Not much has seen except convincing magneto to stop the evil. Quick silver has got a good role. There was a scene in which he saves all the mutants of university was hilarious. It was certainly a clapping moment. Huge Jackman's cameo received huge response from the audience. But it is definitely not a spine chilling moment. Psylocke, new mutant entrant has got a good screen space. Sometimes fight sequences are confusing because too many mutants using their power simultaneously.

Teleporter has played a crucial role. No nail biting moments and twists but decent graphics and action sequences make it worth a watch.

Last words: If you are a X men fan, go for it. Don't expect too much.it can disappoint you.
