Spider-Man Homecoming - DD's review
Language: English
Genre: Action, super hero
Best part of this movie is villain is not created from any nuclear accident or any other accident. He is self made to become rich. Next liked aspect is story starts from the avengers climax.
Story: Toomes (Michael Keaton) and his team is asked to cleanup the alien leftovers from the climax avengers battle. However avengers corporation takes over this task. Having lost his work, Toomes decides to use alien battery to make advanced weapons and sell it to black market. Meanwhile Peter Parker aka spiderman is a student in midtown school, while working as intern with Tony Stark (Robert Downey jr.). Unlike in other Spider-Man movies, this guy is sharp and tries to prove himself as a super hero. Tony Stark provides him a Spider-Man suit with a trainee mode and tracks him with a tracker. Parker confonts Toomes's team in the ATM robbery and also arms deal. In one such encounter, Stark takes back his suit for Parker's irresponsible behavior. Parker gets back his old suit and confronts Toomes aka Vulture. Who is Vulture and Did Spiderman wins back his suit??
Analysis: Peter Parker is young and agile. The childishness added to the character brought humour. The guy, who acted as a friend generated few laughs. Subtle humour and crisp conversations will engage us throughout. Unlike in other movies where a looser in life becomes a villain after engaging in an accident, our villain is self made and ambitious to become rich through illegal activities. Presence of Tony Stark in few scenes might have appeased Stark fans. Fresh casting brought a refreshing look to the Spider-Man series.
Few good scenes:
Action sequences in a ferry.
Lift trap scene.
ATM turmoil.
